Greetings, Winter Hackers!
This may be a duplicate for those of you on the main Code for Boston mailing list, but we wanted to make sure we had all our bases covered - thanks for being patient with our spam!
We hope you’re working hard on your winter solutions and we can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with. We have one week left in our #HackWinter app challenge, so we wanted to see how things are going, to see if you need any help, and to remind you to start thinking about presenting at Demo Night on December 15th.
The #HackWinter Demo Night will take place on Tuesday, December 15 at the Venture Café at CIC Cambridge at 7pm. Demo Night will take the place of our weekly hack night and teams will present the projects they’ve been working on as part of the app challenge. Fully functional apps are not necessary but your team should have something to present to our panel of judges. Please use the Submissions feature on the Devpost site to post your projects, and please drop us a line at email@example.com to let us know if you’re planning to present your work. And even if you're not presenting, come by to see what others have built!
If you need help with any part of your project – design, technical help, etc. – please get in touch with a member of our organizing team and let us know what you need. We’ll try our best to assist you, and feel free to come out to our Weekly Hack Night tonight at 7pm at CIC Cambridge to work on your app, get the help you need, and hang with the rest of our community.

Thanks to many for making this event happen
None of this would be possible without the generosity and support of a number of organizations, including our organizational donor Microsoft, our software partner Devpost, and our event sponsors Venture Café and CIC. We also want to thank our many community collaborators and municipal partners; and the Code for Boston community who give so much of their time and energy to improving civic life here in Boston.
As always, let us know if you have any questions and we can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on!
